We like to know why people post they want to meet you you send e mails to meet and never hear from them again

Having had this happen to me, it could be a multitude of reasons. How about these (Information usually finds you eventually, and I was told these by mutual friends and such... as people talk):

1) They simply got cold feet.
2) If it is a couple, both people were not on the same page.
   a) One half is driving the correspondence.
   b) For some reason one member of the couple did not like something. 4 people liking each other
       is hard.
   c) They simply did not communicate amongst themselves enough before writing.
3) They worried about measuring up to you.
   a) They think you are out of their league.
   b) They looked at your friends/validations and worried they were not good enough.
4) Were just afraid to write back and say that they changed their minds.

People do things like this all the time. It is the same sort of thing if you initiate email with someone, only to have the email sat on until it expires, or just get deleted by them. Who can know the real reasons. While it is frustrating, I just know that no one can be liked by everyone, so just let it be, and keep searching for fun.
