I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I actually agree with Sav on this one. This whole mess is SDC’s fault.
This has been a long time issue with SDC. They simply refuse to add “Single Male” and “Single Female” to their options list. And thus, the confusion is created. Many members assume “Straight Male” means “Straight, not Single”. That said, since there is no “Single Male” option, the default is to use “Straight Male” when a couple desires to be contacted by a single male. Whew….this gets complicated!
Certainly, if a couple shows “Straight Male” in their option list, then writes “***NO SINGLE MEN*** in their profile, a single guy should not contact them. Period. But, if there’s no indication within the text, isn’t it reasonable to assume the couple wants to be contacted by a single guy if they choose “Straight Male” as an option?
Shame on SDC for not making this option more definitive. |

i think it's a mixture of what most of what's been said here.
not everyone is always sure exactly what they want. (even if they say that they know exactly what they are looking for on their profile).
as all can see from my profile.. i've listed myself as a Bisexual male. well, how many couples do you think i've hooked up with that have on their profile "Looking for a bisexual male"? none.
how many couples have i hooked up with that their profile says nothing about looking for males at all? plenty.
how many couples have i hooked up with that their page says the guy is 100% straight and then they secretly swing both ways when we actually meet up? almost every one of them.
go figure.
so, should i really pay attention to everything that is said on a couples profile? fuck if i know the right answer to that. but since i've figured out that there are lots of couples on here that are into hooking up with me even though it says different on their page.... i look at profiles more closely and try to read between the s. maybe same friends or they've joined certain groups that gives clues. sometimes i get nasty replies back... and sometimes i hit paydirt.
these swinger sites are just a numbers game. so don't be offended or get all bent out of shape if you're contacted by people you're not into. it's not worth whining over. get over yourselves. please.

| i think girls and couples have somethin against single guys in this site! they are not even nice or polite it looks like we r the bad guys here! and we r gonna do some bad things!all single males arent the same we r all different! and just because ur a couple they think they r better than u which they arent! ive known bad couples too but i dont judge the rest the same stading they are bad too! i know they r different! i think they all have to give other people a chance to know the other person and treat it if no just say no and we all move on! |

| Been said a million times Straight male should be Single male and if some Super dick doesn't take no for an answer then block his ass. It gets old hearing the anger that single males don't get it when A) not all males turn mental just cause they can't fuck YOUR wife B) not every single male wants to be a couple, so saying well find a woman to play with and it will be better. Better for WHO? C) The speed dating option sucks IMO because if you really wanted a single male you would contact them, no speed date needed. Changing one word would fix all of this. |

| I concur. It's annoying when they've apparently checked the box indicating they're interested in single guys... then you message them thinking they'll be receptive... only to get a fucked up reply ripping your head off. There's an option to block single males. couples who aren't into single guys should utilize this feature. |
