| Why lie? |
I noticed in profiles say one thing but when you meet they are 8 out of 9 times not what their profile says. Why lie? Truth always comes out. How many of you ran into this? |

| It has been rare with us, but it has happened. Before we meet we try to establish communication a few times first. We found that this reduces the hidden surprise of obnoxiousness. |

| We may be the exception, but we've had good luck with people being what they say and wanting what they talk about on their profiles. We've not had good luck with seeing many of the males before we meet, often times the pictures are either non-existent or fuzzy and distant. It's such an old complaint we're almost tired of saying it (almost). So the Mrs has to go into the meeting wondering who is behind door #2, which is another reason we prefer to make first meetings at a LS Club rather than over dinner, more casual, other socializing to do, and are only committed to meet and not be with them the entire night if there is no chemistry. LS Clubs to us are the equivalent of a date lunch, spend a little time and move on, or make it a long lunch with night-caps! |

Occassionally, but it's more the exception than the rule.
Most recently (last Spring), I had two "bi surprises", where I'd met a couple, the Mr. was advertised as straight, only to come found out after we'd met that he liked guys, too. No, thank you. Not in my playbook. |
