Since we've got yet another "how single males suck, here's some common sense" blog going, I just thought for fun I'd do a blog on couples behavior.  Obviously this doesn't apply to everyone. :-)

Since I am a single guy (oh nos!), I'll use the perspective of a single, obviously the advice is fairly universal.  I'll include some complaints I've heard from single women as well.  Just for fun ... I'll even use paragraphs and formatting!  ;-)

One of the myths about singles is we've got nothing better to do than sit around and wait for your couples invitation.  It's shocking I know but often we have a lot going on, we even get laid out in the vanilla world (say it isn't so!!).  So ..... it would be awesome if you all would:  (1) invite us to join you prior to that same day, in fact the more notice the better;  (2) actually follow through when you set a date with us;  (3) try to be respectful of our time, if you have to cancel, doing so last minute really makes us a sad panda.  That said, canceling is always welcomed over not showing up (duh).

Emails ... here's a little etiquette:  (1)  please don't ask for face pictures if you're not willing to share them as well, I want to see what you look like too (plus I need to recognize you);  (2) if you want to see my cock, just ask.  Asking to see "other pictures" can be a bit confusing;  (3) basic email common sense like sharing your first names, etc. is always appreciated.

When we meet you it can be a little anxious for us.  Bear in mind you all know each other and we don't know you at all.  It's awesome if you explain any specific quirks, preferences, desires, rules/regulations, etc. as much as possible in advance.  That way we can come prepared and also don't have the fun of trying to figure you all out completely on the fly.  Believe it or not we want to be part of a very positive experience for you both.  Help us, help you.

Speaking of pleasing ... as much as we want to please you (and we do), we want to have fun too.  After all, unlike a fluffer or stunt cock, we're not getting paid.  ;-)  Of course our idea of fun has to be compatible with yours, hence the importance of communication.  Protip ... we're probably happy as a clam with a few orgasms so it's not hard to please us although a female friend of mine once lamented to me "I got her off and then him off and that was it ..." suffice to say she didn't return their emails anymore.

Validations ... we like them, especially us stinkin' single guys.  Why?  It makes us "real" and takes the fear factor out of contacting and meeting us for other people here.  I know you don't want your friends to know you enjoy a single guy in the mix from time to time but it's awesome when you validate us.  Don't worry, your friends will never know!

IM chat ... I'm not always at my computer or am sometimes tied up (not literally usually) so please be patient if I don't respond to your IM.  Emails are usually your best bet.

That was fun actually ... now back to your regularly scheduled programming of politics, best body parts, arguing about STDs and single guys suck blogs!

Maybe not so much a blog as a quest for information.   We went to the Cap this summer for the first time, stayed at the Babylone hotel - super!   We are now planning our second trip next summer and are considering an AGN apartment as an alternative to the Babylone for accommidation.  

Wondering if anybody who has stayed at one of these apartments would be willing to share some info; 

1) are they in good conditions, clean and tidy? 
2) are you in danger of all the neighbors being families with kids screaming on the balconies (nothing against kids as such, we have some, just not on a swinger holiday!)? 
3) we understand these apartments come with an access to a swimming pool, is that pool nice, can you count on getting a good sunbed every day and is it only swingers using it?

Saturday October 29, 2011. While in fetish-Holland most people will head towards The Hague, for Slaves for Passion, G. and I went from Kortrijk for the weekend to Brussels. Fetish festival combines a 2 day fetish fair, play night on Friday and fetish party on Saturday. We signed up for the party only, our first fetish party for months.

The location of the party, the cellars of Cureghem, could be unique indeed - as advertised. However, the cellars of Cureghem were at least triple the size of the catacombs in The Hague or Utrecht - and the number of party people at least half.. which does not create a good (dark?) atmosphere. The organisation lost some points here, as well for the paid toilets (sorry, I'm Dutch) and the number of people in cotton clothing (why do all those fetish parties claim they have a strict dress code?).

Let's focus on the good things then. The fetish festival was mainly visited by French-speaking people. Although our previous experiences with the French-speaking fetish scene were 'so-so', most people at Fetish Festival were handsome (!!), both men (!!) and women - and very well dressed. We met some hot and delicious people (thanks A. and S.) and there was a large 'fishing pool'left for others..

Before playing at Fetish Festival, we went shopping in Boutique Minuit in the city center of Brussels. During Fetish Festival, in particular the clothing of Justine Nagoi, a Paris' designer, attracted our attention.

Will we go to Fetish Festival 2012? Probably not. The organisation lacked any class. But 'judging' most people present, Brussels has a large(r) potential for good fetish parties than any other city in Belgium's surrounding countries.

I guess I have reached that age when I feel life is passing me by.  I feel fit as a man of twenty with the sex drive that is off the charts.  However, I have found my time is limited.  I have stage four cancer of the liver.   I have been a sexless marrage for 3 decades and now find myself panicing and wondering if I will experience the arms of a lover before my clock runs out.
No strings attached, I can guarantee that as I want no commitments that I cannot keep.  I can only offer afternoons after 5 pm most weekdays in Keller, Roanoke, Grapevine, Rhome areas.. short intense periods of love making.  I wish I could offer more time, but that is what I have right now.  
I just wish people could be more direct in their needs and wants.  So much time is wasted in the mating game.
Anyway here it is and for what is worth, what you see is who you get. 

 What a great party! We need more events like this in Dallas. Ran into quite a few old friends who commented how much they miss the older clubs and going to a place where we could dance and buy a drink. Good to see everyone!

We have just come back from a wonderful vacation in one of the world's greatest cities, Istanbul. We can strongly recommend a visit there. But if you want to meet other swingers via SDC, you are damned in Istanbul!   

We had looked forward to test the swingers' scene in Istanbul, and we had posted our travel plans on the SDC website and eagerly looked forward to get into contact with some playful Turks, but to our great surprise the SDC website was blocked. The Turkish authorities had simply blocked the website, and we could not get access to it.

Has anybody experienced this before? And if so: How do you go about it? 

We were so disappointed about this. Instead we went to XL Club, where we had heard that Turkish swingers sometimes go. A fun place, but we did not find any playful couples. So, no swinging in Istanbul.

Tell us how to do the next time we are in this great city.

PS! When we got back to Denmark we could again get access to the SDC website and found dozens of great invitations from Turkish couples. What a pity we could not get access to all these great invitations when we were in Istanbul.

 Is there anywhere which swingers party in Martin County? We realize there are house parties now and again, however we are curious to find out if there are any clubs, bars, etc where swingers hang out in Martin County... even if it's a vanilla location where swingers can mingle? 
It's fun to go on an adventure to Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Liquordale and Miami, but it would be nice to stay close to home.

Thoughts? Ideas? Is there such a place??
