Guilty! Our pictures range from very recent to up to maybe 3 years old with the newer ones first. We never considered it as misleading, we just never thought about removing the older ones when adding new ones. This may be what is happening with many profiles that still have older photos.
Now, only having old pictures and never adding new ones is definitely misleading.

Ok, agreed on many of the post. Here is one maybe I will let slide because of ignorance. To people in the 20's anything over 40 is old however there are many 40-47 that look like they are only in their 30's Most younger couples will not answer if you say put 45 instead of 40 however they will meet you at a party and go home with you and have a great time. So its a catch 22 put current pictures of yourselves and the number on the profile is irrelavent. On safety is definitely a problem. But it the pictures are accurate who cares what the number is right?
Worse than that or more misleading is the proffesionally done edited airbrush pictures that are not the real meat n potatoes those really get to me. You go to intimateglamour they erase marks take away cellulite, shrink stomachs make breast proportionate, remove c section scars that is not the real person common. |

First, we do NOT display our correct age in our profile. We do this to avoid 'social engineering' where people collect as much information about you until they have enough to cause damage. If you look carefully at profiles, you can often get their age, address, car plate numbers, work place, facebook profiles, youtube profiles, etc - you get the point. However, our ages are very close to what our profile says.
Still, the photos we display are a realistic image of how we currently look. We actually terminated an ecounter with a couple because the pictures they provided were nothing close to the way they actually looked (+30 lbs, + 20 years). The couple we met are still in SDC deceiving others. When we confronted them, they said "looks shouldn't matter" - what do you think about that?

We love it when couples that were five years older than us when we entered the scene are now five years younger.
Of the profile when we said 'sorry he's too old' then took 10 years off his age.
People eh?
A few years for a lady is probably fine, but once you're into a different Presidency then something is wrong. And what the hell we LOVE older couples who are in shape just as much as we love younger couples in shape. Just look at Mrs Ginger7... hawt!

| Vanity is a hallmark of many swingers ... Body enhancements, professional photos, shaving years off ages ... It seems to be a given. Still trying to figure out why people think that's a good substitute for skills and sexual prowess. And it makes me leery in some cases that my partner will be more concerned with how they look while doing the deed ... Distracting from what's supposed to be an uninhibited interlude. |

| We like to be upfront and our pictures are current so that people have a real sense of our shape. Since we are relatively new on SDC we will update our pics about every 6 months or so. We would not want to give a false perception to others viewing our profile. |

We post new CURRENT unretouched photos virtually every 45 days. Why not? By doing this, you pretty much give away your correct age.
It is a very reasonable question to ask for current photos before meeting. So when we are approached and asked for face photos, we send photos less than 45 days old. Nobody likes false advertising. We expect the same in return.

It is hard to age gracefully. I had to really struggle with myself to change my age to my real age - 50! Whoo hoo. As log as we have such a focus on youth , then it is to be expected. we all share part of the probem whenever we are ageist. It s just a symptom of our cultures obsession with youth.
But Yes, I find it annoying too!!! |
