Amina discusses how and why we, as sexual beings, need to learn to identify our fundamental truths when it comes to pleasure.

Welcome to the Fix Your Sex podcast. In this episode, your host Amina Peterson talks about Solo Pleasure Journeying, Reclaiming Sexual Language, and Creating Sexual Communities. Amina explores what a "pleasure principle" is and why it's such a fundamental part of who we are as healthy, sexual, and joyful beings at every stage of our lives. An essential aspect of this journey is to find empowerment in pleasure-forward sexual communication with yourself and your lover(s), and she encourages us to reframe the words we use when describing sex and intimacy. All of these topics culminate in Amina's desire for sexual communities and urban communes, where we could have safe spaces to exist, express our fullest selves, and learn from each other — places where we could build these small circles of change.
