Velvet se ha convertido en una simple pista de baile. Varios puntos en contra, la música muy alta y muy poco llamativa para un público cubano/latino. El aire acondicionado brilla por su ausencia, mucho calor. No están abriendo la pista de baile de atrás donde ponían música latina y cuando la abren no funciona la barra de atrás, cuando preguntamos nos dice el personal q es porq no quieren pagarle a otras personas/o no les da negocio, es lo mismo. Pero cuando otras personas tratan de hacer o “competir” con velvet ustedes como página no la ayudan y por eso se crea lo q hay un monopolio, una sola opción mala pero es lo q hay

This event turned out to be profoundly disappointing, as the advertising creates expectations that bear no resemblance whatsoever to reality. We felt misled, since the full details of the event are only disclosed after payment has been made, and with considerable delay. In our case, we purchased the ticket 24 hours in advance as a precaution, given that in previous occasions we had lost money when unable to attend other events. The experience was even more frustrating when the pool closed an hour earlier than scheduled, with no possibility of access for those who were not hotel guests. Furthermore, if you are a lover of good music and an authentic swinger atmosphere, this event is certainly not for you: it lacked creativity, the drinks were overpriced and poorly prepared, and the overall ambiance fell far short of expectations. As someone within the swinger community, we felt entirely out of place and decided to leave much earlier than anticipated, as there was no reason to stay any longer. This event is certainly not “the best event of the year,” as they claim.

Mucha demora para entrar, la fila en la entrada fue casi una hora con un calor terrible. No abren la barra de la zona latina por lo que hay q buscar los tragos en la entrada y se demora más. Además de todo eso, subieron el precio, hay que ir a otro lugares definitivamente

It was a great New Year's Eve party and there were a lot of sexy and nice people, the food was good. But we think that the management of Caliente forgot that many of us who were there are swingers and it was very important to have a playroom open to have a happy ending to that night.
