We love Checkmate and are regulars. Thursdays are generally quiet but a lot of fun. We go there at 10 and there were three other couples. 2 couples were already playing in the large room. We were able to join them. By 10:30 there were about 8 couples, including one that we have seen and played with a number of times. By 12:30 the night was finished but almost everyone at the club was there to play and we had a very busy and fun night. We highly recommend Checkmate.

Checkmate is just a great club. Lots of fun people, a lot of play and a very comfortable and safe space.

As always checkmate was a great time if your looking for a fun night out with like minded adults its the place to go

We have spend out first night out at a club, ever, at CheckMate NYC 3/19. The venue is extremely clean, the host are excellent, and the location is very easy to get to. They have 4 playrooms, each are super clean and range in size from a few couches to multiple beds next to each other. Music varies in each room , but everything was set up very sensual. I really appreciated the locker attendant - they provided robes, shoes, and watched over our lockers while we played. Overall an excellent place and the people are friendly and respectable as well!

We ALWAYS enjoy ourselves at Checkmates. Devil's Night was no exception. The people were sexy. The staff are always helpful, and the DJ does great with the music. Can't say enough about the parties at this venue. We are almost regulars ourselves. :)

The new dance floor was pretty trippy. The crowd was great. DJ and bartender were fantastic. Love that you can meet out of towners and locals here.

Have been to a few lifestyle venues in the NY/NJ/PA area. That said, we we're thoroughly impressed with Checkmate. Quite upscale...upper echelon atmosphere. We were greeted by a Doorman, lead to an elevator and upon entry to ladies are given champagne with strawberries THEN you get in and WHOA. Beautiful people, courteous staff and couples only atmosphere. Also...the dance floor is lit up like Saturday Night Fever. Then....the memories forever begins. Make your own...try this place!! It will NOT disappoint

The Monster Ball was hot and sexy! This was our first visit to Checkmate NYC and didn’t know what to expect. The club exceeded our expectations. The people were friendly and welcoming and the sex was even hotter!! If you’re visiting NYC, this is a must stop! We’ll be back!

We were originally going to head to Bowery Bliss but we were recommended to go to checkmate instead so not being from NYC we decided to take the recommendation and head out, we arrived around 23:30 and were met by some lovely staff who verified who we were and then proceeded to explain the rules of the club (always good to have if its your first time) we were shown around the main area and the Locker room only (no play areas) there were around 8 to 9 couples already there and a couple of single ladies, we spoke with a lovely couple (D&A) but unfortunately there wasn’t any real vibe going on and there was one pretty drunk gentleman (which is ok but not really what we wanted to see). We ended up leaving around 1am all in all great staff but the area was small and slightly seedy.

Great party Saturday night, our first time at Checkmate. Sexy atmosphere and sexy people! OURFUNTIME16 were great hosts and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The club staff were also friendly and helpful and the DJ was excellent. We’ll be back.

We have registered through SDC's website. When we arrived we discovered that the club did not know the site. The girl at the entrance was impatient so we went and did not go into the club.

Great party and NOBODY has better music.

We had a good time although the 'crowd' flocked in quite late at around 01.30am . By that time we were getting ready to go. Hope that in the future there will be more couples registering thru SDC and with whom we can get in touch before going again. But staff is very nice and atmosphere very sensual.

Monica and the team at Checkmate always do a great job, are super friendly and care a great deal about their members. The place was packed with cool and attractive people. Like always, we had a blast!

They had a private party and we were not let in.

We signed up on the guest list for Checkmate here at SDC and received a confirmation. When we arrived and we told them we had reserved through SDC, they said " What is SDC?" they said there was no confirmation done like that at all. Eventually they relented and let us in but it was not a good start. If Checkmate is going to list here at SDC they need to honor these RSVPs. Once we were in it was a good party with a nice mix of people.

OMG. My wife and I had a ball. It was awesome. I m active duty and was treated w/respect. The people were friendly and the music was on the spot. Thank you so much Checkmate/SDC. Looking forward for the Valentine s Day Party. Airborne All the way!!

One of the best New Year s Eves we ever had. Very friendly great crowd, terrific dance music, courteous support staff, great food and drink, and best of all - mind blowing sex of our choice. Never miss a party at Checkmates!
