First impression on a Friday night Spontaneously decided to come. PS. I arrived around 2am and it was not a busy night, pretty slow not a lot of people just for point of reference. Venue ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Spacious, lots of semi private rooms, I did not get to properly tour the ENTIRE layout but am very impressed with the amenities, seating options. Staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kind, Respectful, Professional with a Smile. Very clean and overall safe and sanitized areas for play thanks to the attentive staff. Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the music played in main room when you walk in is great, loved the DJs playlist. BUT once you go to the back rooms past the lockers there is no music or sound. Dead silence. That could be an improvement. As well as more efficient/effective lighting. Can be dark in some hallways, I would encourage/recommend lights that are placed on the trim of the floor or even crawling up the walls. Dimmed but useful. Crowd/People ⭐⭐ I went on a Friday which was encouraged for new people. That is me I am new first time here. A LOT of single men with no partners, very needy and entitled to be sucked and fucked. I can see why there are not a lot of single women here. I repeatedly had to turn down the same 5 guys asking for my time. I came to enjoy myself, watch others have fun and maybe even participate if I felt curious enough. The single men kinda haggling you to come to a room with them, they can't get themselves off alone without help but do perfectly fine when watching from the other rooms. I went into a semi private room with someone who started okay then went very bad, during that 10-15 minutes we CLOSED and LOCKED the door, the single men repeatedly kept knocking and banging killing the vibe. Also PS I say it went bad because the man was no Gentleman , he got very pissy and upset, rude when I said no I didn't want to do more than I was comfortable with. PSA, Do NOT come here if you do not know how to say "No" or give in easily to pressure/repeatedly being asked, it will not be a good experience. Also do not come if you have a short temper, I was very close to almost throwing a right hook 🧍🏻🧍🏼🧍🏽🤛🏼 but I remained calm cool and collected as I would like to come back. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙃🧐 Overall I would consider coming again but probably when it's only couples and women. The harassment of men who couldn't be bothered to offer to please was very discouraging to want to come and enjoy yourself. The couples I did talk to were very cool, respectful and I enjoyed their company.

Been twice, both on Friday. Crowd is a bit light (Sat I think it's the busiest). Staff is great, always someone keeping an eye in the play areas. However, last time there, it was incredibly hot. Don't know if there was an AC issue, hopefully it was and it's fixed. Even the first time there, the private room got too hot to stay in.

Miami Velvet gets it right. The vibe is polished, the energy is easy, and everyone is treated with care and respect. It's a space that feels both elevated and inviting. Inclusive from the door to the playrooms. 💞

We had an incredible night during their foam party! This club has a place for everyone, dancing, intimate discussions, public play, some dungeon play and of course plenty of play rooms. We were impressed by great security who were professional and attentive. If we are in town again we are definitely coming back.

Husband and I visited MV while in the area for vacation. It was our first time at a LS club and our first time jitters were immediately put to ease. We were given a tour of the club, introduced to a lot of the staff, explained the bar situation, and let loose. It took a while for things to get going, so people only really played for 2.5-3hours before close. Maybe that’s typical for a club, we didn’t know? Place is very clean, and we felt safe. Everyone was respectful and the one time someone tried to pull a phone out, the staff shut it down very quickly.

First-time attending their Foam party and had an absolutely fun time. Hot, sexy couples everywhere, great music & fun crowd❣️ Highly recommend prepaying your tickets.

Had been to Velvet, years ago, when it had more space, more activities and much better atmosphere . Just visited this past Saturday. Place charges $150, higher then any other LS club in South Florida. Don’t even serve food, or appetizers. Even the Valet Parking is the highest of all the clubs. and the place is now much smaller, half section of the club is closed. Years ago, MV had two side, with deferent music venues. Now, the they charge more for less! Think, I’ll be heading back north Broward next time.

We attended their Halloween Party on 29th Oct, very vibrant, eclectic and entertaining crowd! Excellent DJs, bartender, ambience…..a must go for anyone who’s looking for a combination of eroticism and nightclub….

Used to be our “go to place”. Was such an awesome club. We visited recently to give it another shot and couldn’t believe how run down the place has become. Management does not care about its members. What a shame that it is now hit or miss. Now we know why they no longer attract crowds like they used to. We will drive an hour favor and stick with Trapeze.

Favorite lifestyle club by far. Our home away from home. Never disappoints.

We hadn't been back to MV in some time and weren't sure what to expect. The Pachanga Party exceeded our expectations!

Had a great time. DJ, bar and staff personnel were great! Met some fun people. Can't wait until our next visit!

Sunday October 15, 2017 First let me say that velvet is the club where we broke our swinger cherrie and spent 4 to 5 years as loyal customers. The distance from our home is approximately 30 minutes away. 1. In the beggining there was food. We sometimes rushed to make it by 10 pm To get special princing discounts so it was ok to arrive with a little bit of hunger because there was always something to eat. Velvet eliminated the food. 2. Bathrooms with no toilet paper, no soap to wash hands or paper towels to dry hands is a normal occurrence at velvet. We showed up at velvet on a friday when we noticed the women's bathroom floor covered in feces. The very next day we showed up again and the feces had not been picked up. By this time it was dried feces. We had to go to the front desk and tell them about it. Now they have 2 attendants that work for tips holding on to the paper towels and soap. The women get toilet paper to dry their hands...not kidding. The back playroom bathrooms have no soap or toilet paper or paper towels. 3. Only 3 bartenders for 400 people does not work. Last night we were waiting 10 15 minutes for a drink. there are bartenders that give your drinks to other customers. We had the unfortunate experience when we found out that our bartender was giving away our wine tequila and tequila mix. How do we know this ? Because after arriving with a new bottle of wine and only having a couple of cups we noticed the bottle was almost empty. incredibly the bartender admitted to us that they had mistakenly given some away and then assured us that we could have any drink we wanted. Obviously at the expense of another customer. Same with oct. 14 Party they gave our mix to anyone that asked. The bottle was almost empty When i went for my 3rd drink. The bartenders could not handle so many people. A cup of water took 20 minutes. We decided to go to the back room bartender only to find that he was drinking shots with the customers. He was so lost that after waiting 15 minutes for a cup of ice we decided to serve our own drinks. 4. The music is too loud a conversation is impossible without yelling. 5. Tipping. we actually like to tip our bartender And anyone that works to make our experience better at the club. However when we went to the front desk to get change. They told us "just come back later". To sum it up, while still in line to get in to last night's party we were asked with disbelief why we werent getting the yearly renewal for $109.00. "Its going to be more expensive If you dont renew tonight" we were told. Frankly we want to use our hard earned money at clubs that care about us the customer.

We cannot say we've been to a ton of swinger joints... Recently we visited trap (its no MV). In comparison MV takes the cake! Personally we're not huge fans of the DJ/mc/skills after 12am its regeton or house. they have two rooms not always with both open. We prefer a more open format and variety. Every night is a different mood and you dont always want to stick to one genre (we dont anyway). The staff is friendly and accommodating from the host who provides the tours to the gentlemen with the locker keys. They could probably use another bar tender or two. On a busy night it takes a while to get a drink from a bottle u brought with you. ?? the people are somewhat cliquey but we've never had an issue breaking boundaries or moving in or away from the clique with a couple. Generally weve been engaged and approached more at velvet than other swinger clubs. Do not go on Friday nights!!! They let single men attend.... we thought it would be an opportunity for mfm fun... Turns out lots of old men jerking off and staring that was more the theme of the evening eww! I read another review stating the playrooms aren't "themed" that would be an excellent idea for more intricate play snm etc but u are at a small venue in the heart of Miami not fetish factory. We always bring a goodie bag with whatever extras we desire. Leave it in the locker... U can dress or undress as revealing as u like. We also bring our own soaps (some ppl prefer to leave the club) so just take some with u incase theyre running low. The towels... Not sexy but thats the hygeine rules we get it. The rooms are clean and sheets and towels are provided upon request. Personally I like that most rooms have a door and a lock. We are selective not anyone can just get up in the room and pounce with us. The couches and furniture are even clean! Which we have seen not so clean ones in other locations ??the dance floors are large the layout is spacious and appropriate and we've never had bathroom issues..... Again in comparison to the places we've been it is the best. Half of this couple doesn't speak Spanish so yes its frustrating that some couples are very Latin but again thats relevant to location. We have been to MV many times won't return to the other places we've tested out in Miami... Thats gotta be good for something ??

Went many years ago with ex, then again last year with the now Mrs., a Latina. Within 20 minutes of arrival, she said we made a mistake, we left and headed up north to the Trap. Smoking, for the money all you get is hotdogs and pretzels, very cliquish crowd. So, would never recommend the Velvet. Yes it is large, but very few places to sit.

so we visit Velvet club in Saturday 12 september, so, nic outside, more car, more people, nice dresses)) but one negative on door, we on sdc quest list and guy on desk tell me about 150 usd entry. but normwly couple 100 and for sdc 75, )) so we send info to club email and without answer, maby mistake mby fail, mby thief))) but club is very large, clean, and nice.

We need to counter some of the super positive reviews with some critical comments here. In general we would say: Miami Velvet is an OK club. But all the buzz is certainly not deserved. First some positive aspects: fun dance floor area with good music (question of taste of course)and a nice party vibe, super friendly staff, generally good age mix and clean premises. Now to our negative comments: - We saw several people with mobile phones taking shots and videos in the dance area. For us that is a total no go. Staff did react after being told, but they should prevent it in the first place. - Too many single guys obviously pay a "friend" to get in an then hang out alone trying to get some part of the action. That's a turn off. If we want single guys roaming around us like jerkoff-vultures, we can have that any other day for less money. - We may be spoiled from clubs in Europe but the rooms were rather boring. A lookthrough mirror was the top attraction next to the very bright aquarium (unfortunately we do not get turned on by watching fish). No kinky stuff, no styled or themed rooms no hidded niches. All in all the place lacked a seductive, lustful, naughty atmosphere. - We like to have a chat before we get it on with another couple. Im MV thats hard to have. Dance areas are pretty loud and in the sex-zones there's no place to stand and have a chat. The only option is the alternative bar (without a bar). - The towel-policy. We love lingerine. But for a reason we still cannot fathom we were required to wear towels in the sex-zone. That's ridiculous. You either can be naked or you have to wear a towel. We love that there are towels - for hygiene and to dry us off, but not as clothing. - Perhaps a European thing again. But when we go to a swinger club, we do expect to see and be seen. It is nice to have a lockable room for intimate encounters, and most clubs have one. ONE. In MV there basically are only lockable rooms. So you either ride along with the afore mentioned single males and try to open door after door to find some action or you already have a couple before you hit the fuckfloor. It all just seemed a bit uptight. Lock here towel there. - Last but not least: Smoking in the dance area. Ok, matter or taste, but not our taste at all. All in all we think the MV has the potential to be a really sexy club. But honestly - in the state that it is now, it is just a hangout for the local crowd who already knows each other and just needs some horizontal space to get it on.

Wife & I went for the first time: great place to have fun. Most people bilingual and good looking. Host is charming. We were nervous for the first time by everybody respects you. We had a couple of proposals but if you don't feel like it, they're OK. Main ballroom is big and beautiful, we danced a lot. Around midnight you see more sexy action on the floor. Being a Wednesday, back rooms and precincts were closed. Take your own drink and eat before going & you'll be fine. Strongly recomend it! Will go back!

Quiero decirles k emos ido a muchos club y como este no hay , el unico problema k estan teniendo es k no sirven nada de aperitivos y yo creo k para el precio k ellos cobran deverian dar halgo, por ejemplo hay club k son de menos calida del mv y se llenan menos k el mv y dan tremendass comida , por ejemplo si vas al trapezee no tiene la calida del mv y no van tantas personas como el mv y ellos alli sirven comida y despues dan desalluno asi k no entiendo porque el mv esta perdiendo calida, yo les escrivi y todavia no e recivido respuesta espero k todo el k le alla pasado lo mismo lo k tienen k hacer es quejarse a ver si ellos tomam una decicion.....

We have been going to Velvet often for a year now and recomend it to everyone we meet. The energy in the club always seems to be building through out the night, especially when both dance floors are open. The people that work at Velvet always have an inviting attitude. Some have told us they feel intimidated by the fun Miami energy, but we always say let go, say hi to someone, and get on the dance floor and it will be your #1 club soon too!

We've been member of MV for over 4 years and since then it's our favorite club. The staff is very friendly and eager to please you, all areas are very clean and confortable, we have met a lot of people and have a tons of good moments.

We are from New York City and have been in the lifestyle for for quite a few years. We have both worked in a few of these clubs as bartenders and have a good grasp of how they are run and the couples who attend. We attended a Saturday night party in June 2011 that was very impressive. The venue is very large and was packed with many interesting and hot couples. There is plenty of dancing, flirting, and playing going on. The management of the club is on the strict side which is in my experience very good. What we did not like was there were way too many male staff, we found this a little off. All in all we give it a thumbs up 9. Go and have a great time.

Went there recently after about a year. Some simple suggestions. Get some better music. The computer, tecno, repetitive, mindless bass has to go. There is allot of great music to choose from. Get rid of the towels. Its just too wierd having a few people walk around in these, with a wide open dressing area, for all the clothed to see. A restricted towel area makes no sense. Less rules...better music. Sorry, Sapphire Lounge had one, two, three up'd you...

Estuve en el bar, muy apesar de que mi esposa es muy recatada y fue por complacerme, las pasamos increible.Ella no queria quitarse la ropa, pero cuando ingreso se puso muy caliente y estaba muy mojada y queria iniciar rapido pero yo la atajaba para observar. Solo lo hicimos los 2 pero me gusaria interactuar con otras parejas viendo que ella lo disfruto muchisimo y yo no se diga. Este club es super. Quiero regresar.

We go to all the clubs and our #1 preference is MV! We are a 40's white couple and we don't speak spanish. If you talk to some of the couples, you will find they are bilingual!! There usually is a mix crowd when we have been there. We really enjoy the younger crowd that loves to dance and have always had a blast in the play rooms. VERY SEXY! We've been attending since they first opened and has stayed our favorite!

We have visited Miami Velvet numerous times in fact it was our first on premise club and I must say the club lay out is the best. The down side is that the crowd is very unfriendly and 98% Hispanic, which would be okay if the music and people were a little more diverse. The last visit was on Memorial Day weekend and it was the worst experience so far. The staff was not friendly this time, the bathrooms were not stocked with even as much as a roll of toilet paper, no soap, not even a mirror on the wall. I mean for this to be the #1 on premise club I would think that the owner Roger, could spend a little more to make the environment clean for the members. Unless you take your own group of friends you can pretty much count on not having much interaction with others during the night or again unless you SPEAK SPANISH. The club also tends to attract many "Beautiful people" that only come in to dance in the first club and never even attempt to go beyond that point, which is what an on premise club is for. If you are black or inter-racial or anything other than SPANISH or ELDERLY then you are not going to get any attention in the playrooms. They really should just change the club to a Hispanic only club, even the on line Miami Velvet Site is almost all Hispanic, unless you can speak and read spanish you can't even read a person's profile.

I've been going to Miami Velvet for about three years. I love the staff, the members and the atmosphere. M.V is like our second home. Me and my hubby are die hard members you can find us there with our friends at lease 2 to 3 times a week. What can i say when you find a place that much fun, with sexy people a great staff and good music you better not pass it by :) We've also met some of the friendliest people and made lifetime friends at M.V. It's definitely the #1 Swing Club!!!

We have been going to all the on-premise clubs for years and Miami Velvet is just a cut above the rest. From the 2 dance floors, group rooms, private rooms and the music. Miami Velvet is like no other club we have ever been to.

been going on-and-off for years. it is the cleanest. it has the best/attentive staff. and, excellent location. however, i must say that i like the old set up before they remodeled. liked having the smaller dance area so that people would be more prone to interacting and the large play area so that you had space to play - really miss the second floor. and if you are looking for the younger crawd, this is the place - abuelita and abuelo go to trapeezeeeee.

My wife an I have been to many nights in Velvet and think this is the best swingers club around. The staff are very friendly and professional, the club is in excellent condition and always clean. When you have a club this good to go to, you don't need to criticize another to make your club sound good.

Literally, there are no other swingers club in Miami. The place has a life of it's own. By all means it is a latin place and has a latin flair. It is 100% dance your ass off. The people may not always be the classiest but they go there to party and have sex.

We have been going for about 2 years now. We try to go to other clubs but some how we end up back at Velvet. Can't say enuff about the staff, from valet to the back room. Always seems to be adding improvements.

we read as much as we could about the so called "lifestye" clubs in the fort lauderdale/miami area before coming to south florida. we had never been in such a place and were very nervous about what to expect. all i can say is "WOW"!!! what an amazing experience. we went on a saturday night. got there a bit later than planned (about 1am) and the place was quite busy. but not so busy that you did not feel comfortable. at first it looked like your average night club. a small dance floor with various people dancing, a couple of bars, and a few tables and chairs. upon further exploration we found a smaller area near the rear of the club with another small dance floor (no one dancing) different music playing, and another bar. there were also these curious looking open air rooms with curtains. no one in them though. just when we started to think we had been very misled about this whole thing.then we notice two women in the corner engaged in a very provocative act. we see another two couples entertaining themselves in much the same way. maybe we were not misled at all??? sure enough, within that first hour we found all the private and semi-private rooms they had to offer. we saw things there that we are not even supposed to talk about. and out of respect for the club i won`t go into too much detail. let`s just say that everthing you read about this place is true. it really is!!! the only part we found missing, which turned out to be a good thing for us anyway, was that we really were not bothered by anyone at all. we were not even propositioned in anyway. sure we got looks and glances but nothing more than in any other club. i suppose if we had pursued the situation we may have made a special friend or two but it did not happen. and that was fine by us. we had enough to worry about. that night truly was one of the best nights of our lives. both of us felt very comfortable and never did we think we had made a mistake in coming. on the contrary, all we can do now is wait until we have the opportunity to do it again!!! the best advise i would give someone who is a first timer.....dress up however you are most comfortable, bring your favorite choice of drink, leave your everyday self at home, and go into the club with the idea that anything can happen but it doesn`t have to if you don`t want it to. and remeber...."when in Rome...."

We have attended Miami Velvet for years now. We feel it is the best lifestyle club. It has two huge dance areas, with multiple poles, a VIP section, even a cage for the girls to get naughty, usually, 7 bartenders that are always attentative and friendly. The decor is stylish and modern, as you would see in a high-end South Beach club. There is even a living room area with a gorgeous saltwater fish tank, and videos in case you want to socialize confortably and without having to scream over the music. 12 rooms for sex/play and all over the club. Attention to detail is evident. 4 sets of bathrooms, and the locker area is roomy and very clean and well-stocked with all amenities. The spirit of the people is friendly and socially festive. People mostly go there to dance, enjoy good company, party, and indulge in erotic oppurtunities, without the usually associated aggressive behaviour. We highly recommend, if in South Florida, not to miss visiting Miami Velvet! It just might be the reason you end up moving here.

I recently attended Miami Velvet on a Sunday night with a male client from out of town. I thoughly enjoyed myself, especially in the hot tub. People and staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. Security is present which should make us single woman visiting for the first time more relaxed. Nice mixture of men and women. BYOB so u know what you're drinking. Costs way less than clubs on So Beach and at least you know you're probably going to get something.

Miami Velvet somehow manages to pull off the class and style that youd expect for 3 times the price on South Beach with the added perks of extreme erotica. Its so nice to have the rooooooom to stretch out in. The place is huge. We have watched the club grow and mature over the last few years and can honestly say it is our absolute favorite night spot. I like that the people are friendly, attractive, approachable, and have interesting things to say (as well as a few various ander, fabulous ways of saying them, lol). The club is extremely clean and the food is good. Ive been to the other clubs in the area and they are mostly nice, but just cant compare.

Two years ago Miami Velvet won SDC's Club of the Year. Everything has only "gotten better" additional space, new lockers, sound system. Simply put they remain the Champions in our eyes.
