Great party!

We had a great time at this well attended party! This was our first GEMS party and to say we were impressed would be an understatement! We have been in the lifestyle for 10+ years and attended many different hotel parties. This one ranks at the top of the list for us. Everyone we met made us feel like old friends. The host and hostess were two of the nicest people we have ever met period. We will definitely be attending GEMS parties whenever we can.

We had a great time at this party. We’re kind of new to that group, but we had no shortage of folks rented to talk with. We had a great time!!! For a non smoking hotel, there is a lot of stale cigarette odor lingering in the elevator and hallways.

Another great party

Thank you to the hosts who bring this party to us...they are definitely the GEMS !! This is a very safe environment and the hosts make sure of it. More than ample supply of bar mixers with an awesome tender. Plenty of snacks with a good variety that was well stocked throughout the night. The DJ was spot on with great dance music if dancing is your thing. The party area was sexy and well decorated. Seating was arranged to make mingling with the other guests an easy task. If you’re planning on coming to the event, I would recommend going to the meet and greet the night before. It gives you a chance to meet some people before the party vs walking in and possibly not knowing anyone. This is a very friendly & respectful crowd so attending even if you can’t make the meet & greet won’t leave you hanging out there by yourself. But, it will get your evening started off a little faster by having a familiar face when you come in. We always meet new couples at the event. We’re ready for the next one!!!

Great Party!

This was our first GEMS party and we had a great time. The venue was really nice, well decorated it was obvious that quite a bit of time and thought went into the planning and setup. The DJ was fun and played a good variety of music so there was something for everyone. We met a lot of friendly people. We will be going to their party parties in the future

GEMS Navarre

This was our first GEMS event. It was very non threatening and we were able to meet multiple couples. Word of advice for a newbie.... go to the meet and greet! We met multiple couples there who welcomed us. They actually migrated to our table to speak to us. The following event night we “knew” couples when we arrived. This was refreshing vs walking in and knowing no one. Our first of many GEMS events!

Great Party

This was a fantastic party. The hotel and banquet room was great. The people were so friendly. There were about 150 people in attendance. Great looking couples. Looking forward to the next one up there. Hope it's soon. It was a long drive for us but well worth it. Made a lot of new friends.

Hotel takeover at the beach..... two for one

Gems always hosts good parties. The Navarre hotel is very accommodating. The only drawback is there is an adjacent conference center that you have to walk across the parking lot for (people in the drive thru at Taco Bell must wonder). The Friday night pre party is at a nearby beach club (vanilla). Awesome place to have fun and tease vanillas

Always a good time

GEMS parties are always in good hotels. Murphysboro location is one of the best. The rooms all open into the atrium where the party is. They set up a top notch sound/DJ for the party. Lots of good looking fun couples.

Small but intimate & fun

We've been to many GEMS parties and this one had a smaller turn out. Busy time of the year I guess. But the crowd was great. We've been to other parties where there were lots more people but the chemistry just wasn't there. We think the smaller numbers made it more intimate & fun, because it was easier to manage. The hotel was 'ok'. It is in the middle of renovation so I imagine it will be much better in the future. FYI one does have to walk thru the open area to get to the party room so if it isn't a total take over you need coverups to walk thru vanillas going to and from the party to get drink refills or bathroom trips Size of the party and hotel amenities don't make a party, it is the people who attend, and we had a good time.

Good party, not so good venue

The party was small, but it gave everyone the opportunity to make new friends. We certainly did. The decor and preps were great. Applaud all the effort. Thanks. Just not digging the hotel. Not enough privacy or convenience.

Fantastic

One of the best hotel takeover parties we've ever attended. Lots of hot couples. The hotel has a wonderful setup that offered plenty of room to mingle even with 100+ couples. The music/DJ lights and dance floor was professional and fun. Can't wait until the next party.

Spectacular weekend

Everything was spectacular. From the parties, to the music, to the staff. Could not ask for a better weekend. Only challenge was we had to share the hotel with none GEMS folks. We need to sell out next time so we have the run of the place. Thanks to all the staff for hosting such a great event.

Anniston Party

It was not large in numbers but the best all around party we have been to. From the pool party, to the event, and then the after party were all very enjoyable. It seemed like everyone was socializing with each other, no cliques at this.

Athens party

First of all, we really enjoy your parties and appreciate the effort and thought you guys put into it. The Athens hotel had a good layout and I bet was a real nice place at some point. That being said, our room and other parts of the hotel was creepy unclean. I found a cigarett beside the bed which makes me wonder how much cleaning was done? Stains in the bathroom felt uneasy. Not sure if we would go back again to that hotel unless a lot of improvents are made there. We do respect your efforts in trying to find different locations and love being a part of GEMS.

Really nice event, Perfect venue. Lots of fun, open-minded people. Lots of SDC swag. Just wished there had been some play rooms, because everyone doesn't like to take strangers to their hotel rooms.

VERY attractive, friendly couples, the Hosts, Hostesses, and staff are the best. The thought and detail that go into to their planning shows from the minute you walk in. We went to the Friday night party and it wasn t as good as expected. We heard the Saturday one was better n had better couples but the Friday one did not have as good of couples as we thought. The venue or the party was just ok but the price was nice. We may or may not go back. We did know several couples there and will always have fun with them.
