Alright friends — it’s First Friday in San Antonio, the week before Fiesta kicks off, and we’re doing it the only way that makes sense… with karaoke + Fiesta energy 💃🪅✨
We’re meeting at Marty’s Cocktails for a Fiesta-themed karaoke hang — no showcase, no pressure, just a fun rotation and cheering each other on. Come sing, come spectate, come laugh, come vibe. 🎶🍹
this is a chill place and there are seats for about 45 people plus an outdoor area up front if you need to step outside for a bit. they also have darts and a separate upper bar area. Sure to be a good time!

The New Guy
Bae sent me out alone with the hopes that I would get slutted out. However I chose to go socialize. She is typically my emotional support human, so it was awkward for me to be without her. To make matters worse I'm not a fan of extremely loud environments in new places with new people. I was uncomfortable from the moment I walked into the door with so many people everywhere in the music so loud. I was not sure of who was who or what was what. But I promised my wife I'd bring her back some of the food from the establishment. Fortunately while I was awaiting my order, a group of people decided to engage playfully. I enjoyed their conversation and company so much that I stayed after my food came out. I also think I missed the opportunity to talk with a quite gorgeous woman who appeared to be giving me the flirty eyes but even that's a bittersweet memory now. The staff at the facility were great. They were absolutely wonderful in fact. The good company (and great lemon pepper wings) would make me consider venturing out to the event again.
Location and event were great
What a fun night. Location was nice. Hosts were great. We really enjoyed the evening. DJ was good. Great night out.

We enjoyed hanging out with everyone. Only minor complaint is that it was quite loud indoors. Made flirting difficult.
