At this point, the city has been invaded by aliens, held hostage by mad scientists, nearly destroyed by mysterious energy beams, cursed by ancient artifacts, and repeatedly flattened.
So The Tudor House is bringing together the only people qualified to handle this pesky supervillain situation:

(Plus all the supervillains that we fully anticipate infiltrating the gathering.)
