Crete 2019, A Slice of Paradise!
Crete has a way of leaving a lasting impression. Over the years, SDC has returned to this sun-soaked Greek island time and time again, drawn by its mix of stunning landscapes, warm hospitality, and unmistakable atmosphere. What began as a simple destination became, a familiar setting for many where new experiences unfolded alongside returning traditions, with each visit adding another layer to an already memorable story.
Throughout the Years
Each year, SDC on Crete drew a global crowd of lifestylers, blending local and international talent: DJs, dancers, and sexologists, for a curated, Mediterranean playground of connection and indulgence. This popular event had long established itself as a standout island escape.
The main pool was the party hotspot during the day, the Jacuzzi oversized and heated, the playroom custom-designed, and the resort staff perfectly in tune with our crowd, ensuring that everything from cocktails to the middle in the night munchies were taken care of.
Party Central
Daytime around the main pool was always more than just downtime... it was where the event naturally came alive. Conversations formed easily, returning guests reconnected, and new attendees found their rhythm. As the day progressed, music and energy gradually built, transforming the space into a social hub that flowed naturally into the evening.
Themed Nights
Evenings on Crete brought a different kind of energy. Themed nights encouraged guests to dress up, participate, and immerse themselves into the spirit of the event. Rather than feeling forced, these themes added a layer of fun and creativity that oftentimes helped break the ice and brought people together in a playful way.
Fun Extras
The introduction of a master boudoir space, which was designed as an approachable, educational environment rather than something intimidating was added into the mix. Guests could explore their darker sides at their own pace, ask questions, and observe techniques in a setting that emphasized learning and curiosity.
Another standout feature: the open-air playroom, available around the clock. Set in a private outdoor environment, it added a unique dimension to the event. Its accessibility and atmosphere made it a consistent point of interest throughout the stay, blending seamlessly into the overall experience while offering guests flexibility in how they chose to indulge. The Sexcape Room was a novel idea we introduced at our latest edition which delighted the guests.

Through a broad choice of workshops led by experienced facilitators people could separate themselves from the party atmosphere if wanted. These sessions mostly focused on hands-on techniques, communication, connection, and shared understanding between couples. For many, these workshops became some of the most meaningful parts of their escape, providing them with moments that went beyond entertainment adding significant depth to their overall experience.
The Setting That Tied It All Together
While the activities and programming shaped the experience, Crete itself remained a constant presence. Guests often took time to explore beyond the resort by visiting local villages, enjoying traditional food and drinks, or simply taking in the island’s beaches and natural beauty. These moments added contrast to the more social aspects of the event, rounding out the overall experience.
Until Next Time
As with every edition, departure day never failed to arrive too soon. Familiar faces said their goodbyes, new friendships lingered, and one final sunset over the Greek horizon brought the week to a close.
What remained wasn’t just a single event, but a collection of memories, shared laughter by the pool, themed nights full of personality, and the unmistakable beauty of Crete itself. It was that combination that continued to make each return to the island feel less like a trip, and more like coming back to something already familiar… yet always just a little bit new.
