This review comes from the perspective of LS newbies with the training wheels still firmly attached. We have been together for 30+ years and have only just begun our LS adventure. It began with the Room 77 podcast which answered many questions and became a guidebook to our journey. With every episode, our understanding grew and our fears subsided. We have no idea how generation that preceded Lauren and Richard described the LS, but L&R have certainly perfected the technique. Moreover, they've actually put it into practice with their Room 77 Flirt and SIN events. They have literally put their truth where there podcast is. These events have been carefully curated, with each getting better...this was our 4th in a row. The venue, the entertainment, the theme nights and the PEOPLE have all been first class. Lauren and Richard have that special something which attracts an incredible demographic of respectful, professional and beautiful couples many of whom have been together for years. Some play and some don't, but it doesn't matter, because ALL feel safe, included and fulfilled. The only warning is that all other takeovers / resorts may be a disappointment because their's is second-to-none.

It’s hard to find the words, as we’re still recovering mentally, physically, and emotionally from this trip. We’ve been lucky enough to attend several Room77 events, and every time we leave reminded exactly why we keep coming back. The vibe they’ve created over the years attracts some of the sexiest, most genuine people we’ve ever encountered. We can’t even count how many couples we spoke with who said the same thing - many of them booking SIN in October before even heading home. We’re truly proud to call Richard and Lauren friends and to be part of such an amazing community.

Forget Desire, Temptation, and Hedo.... Nobody comes close to the vibe of these Room 77 events. From the people, to the music, to the venue, we always walk away with a ton of amazing friends and mind blowing encounters! It's obvious just how much they pour themselves into this event. Oh, and they also have a really cool podcast!

If you’ve not figured it out yet, these guys have worked out the secret sauce to throwing a great LS takeover event… Many positive things to say about this event, but a few things are unique to this (and the Oct version I’d guess)… there’s focus on great DJ’s, themes with a twist, and attracting great people. It’s the only takeover we’ve done that works in a fully loaded beach party under the stars… all the DJ/lighting equipment, the drunk-proof Photo Booth, functioning beach dance floor, fireworks, entertainment, and on-point white/glow/wedding smash up theme this event made it one of the best party nights we’ve been a part of… and we’ve seen some sh$t in 15 years of this! So anyway… 5-star review… add this to your list of fun, go-to events…. 😘

This was our favorite takeover of all time. The property was amazing, which made for a posh decadent experience. This takeover was divinely a step above any takeovers we've experienced at Desire or Hedo. We were so sad that this takeover didn't become a continuing annual event. All of our lifestyle friends that attended any of the Experience events at this resort are of the same opinion. All of our lifestyle friends are hopeful that SDC will again host another Experience event here. :-)

Loved this event in 2021 & 2022. Met soo many new friends. All the restaurants were great. Entertainment was good every day & evening! Rooms great. The Haven is beautiful!

The location, the resort, the entertainment, the music and the people. We loved it all. We have gone to all 3 events SDC has done in the same resort and we love it. Please don’t stop. Looking forward to next year.

Party and people where excellent but playroom too small need to get it bigger, more beds and fun stuff. Also we had a couple of waiters which had some problems with guests. Just bad attitude!

We have been to many Sdc take overs . Sdc grup is always great making sure we all have a grate time . We personally we have a blast as always . I do have to disagree no having any food after 10 pm , u know wen you party and drinking after hrs you want eat something on you way out to the room . also bar by the pool bartenders were pretty rude . I understand they try to make everyone happy but to me hotel staff was shorthanded across the board on the hotel.. Hopefully they do do a review on their personal to make everybody happy .Food was ok . . We will go back for sure to a SDC event ??

We have been on many SDC Takeovers and think they host great events. The Hotel staff was great, crowd was great , the SDC staff was great but ...The problem was the food and that we started having stomach issues the next to last day and took a few days after we got home to get over it. We will go on more SDC Takeovers in the future but not to this property.

Thank you for organizing the perfect resort and party plan. Not one dull moment. Lots of sexy people and friendly faces. We had so much fun. The workshops were a blast, the music at the party pool kept us all on our toes and happy. Highly recommended, we will be there next time again, loved every minute of it.

Well Marcel was amazing as every trip! Umm the food & entertainment was not as on top as last year, but it was still totally great! The band the last night was the best one. The hotel is beautiful!! Luv it and the whole staff at Haven is wonderful! And we love the rooms and the DJs! Luv uuu. See you next year

We always have a lot of fun on our at least 10 events of SDC, and we did this time. But felt the public is turning more and more voyer this time. The food and drinks at the hotel were not so great as usual. Got very annoyed with lack of rules preventing people to reserve their spots in the pool all day and not using it. All the rest was very good !!!

Great hotel, Great people, Pool & rooms were amazing. Good entertainment & after party club On the mediocre side was the food in general, reservation system for dinner was poor along with a disappointing playroom. They need to do better than lnflatable mattresses as well as the need to have earlier hours Nice power white sand on a beach packed with putrid mounds of never ending seaweed causing not a single person to venture into the water. Despite the negatives, it was a fun week & will return next year
