The adults-only amusement park will feature an erotic sculpture park, genitalia-shaped rides, a nudist pool, a sex playground, a sex museum, and snack bar serving aphrodisiac dishes.
Bad for the Neighborhood?
Not everybody is excited about the park. People are afraid that the sex park will reflect badly on the area, and might attract the wrong kind of attention to that area of Brazil. They are concerned about the message it’s sending.
"We cannot be known as the capital of sex," Piracicaba City Council member, Matheus Erler, told the New York Times.
No Sex Allowed
However exciting it might get, sex is not allowed in the park. Mauro Morata, the businessman in charge of the project, told the newspaper: “Although the workers of the park will encourage condom use, if the visitors want to take things to another level, they can go to a nearby hotel.”
To change people's minds about the park, Morata says the park will create 250 new jobs and states: “This won’t be a place for nuns, but it’s not like we’re trying to recreate Sodom and Gomorrah.”
The admission fee will be $100 per person.
