Hands down, best hotel party experience we have had. Facility, excellent. Group, even better. Rather than having to grade the venue on a curve as they would host an LS event, this was a place we would stay on our own. The group was supremely open, friendly and welcoming. From the hosts all the way down to us newbies, this was / is what you would hope every group to be …. but is rarely the case. Venue, hosts, group members - well done, and thank you.

Went to the day party only, it was a fun day in the sun, playroom areas are clean, the host also had free HIV and STD testing with instant results, great for finding new playpals!

We will be looking for new spots to try out. Secrets stays focused on making that money, there’s not a single Formal Area for mingling. We couldn’t even have a conversation outside furthest from the stage still could barely hear from the music.

There are different ways to evaluate an experience like this past weekends TampArotic Tropic to Erotic event. You could critique the venue itself, the hotel and security staff, the performers and presenters, or the organization and attention to detail right down to the 3d printed awards...much of which was self-evident to those in attendance...and all of which was extrodinary! Another metric might be how, for 36 hours or so, they were able to take you far away from your everyday trials and tribulations even though many guests were just a short drive from home. We have been to many hotel takeovers, this was our first Splash event though. It was an absolute blast the Admin for this event know how to setup and make the events perfect for everyone that attended. We couldn't ask for anything better than what it was. Couldn’t have asked for a better first hotel takeover experience. The entire Tamparotic crew showed us how it should be done. It will be hard to top. Got to meet some new friends, caught up with some old friends, and finally met folks we’ve been chatting with a for a while. Felt too short! You know it was a great when it’s over before you want it to be over.

Super sexy crowd, ideal venue with space for everyone, perfect ambiance, completely well organized with everything from games and contests to Midnight Munchies, well curated vibes and our favorite DJ CHESKA! Paradise Lakes Resort
Awesome crowd in the pool and nightclub. On Saturday night, the DJ played two slow songs (Love on the Brain and Tennessee Whiskey) and from that point on the music was just right for the attendees the dance floor was active until 11pm. We hoped for a few more slow songs sprinkled in during the evening, but the right generational music for the dancers was good.

This was our 3rd hotel takeover with this company. No detail was left out: top notch security, games, vendors, swag and music. The hosts/owners kept the party going and there was something for everyone. If you had a question or needed anything, they did their best to accommodate. If you get a chance to go...do it. This was hands-down one of our best experiences.

Heatwave Events
HeatWave really know how to do these events, we are newbies without experience and yet felt so comfortable at this event. Everyone was so friendly and respectful. They really attract a nice great looking crowd. Highly recommend attending their events regardless of what you are into or level of experience. They were very well organized. They also provided security at the event , did not feel it was due to concerns for their guests but rather reassuring that outsiders were not infiltrating. Music was spot on. If you are on the fence about attending do not hesitate, try it and you will only regret not doing to previous events.

On a scale of 1 to 5, it was a 2. At one time this is mostly a bi event night but last night there were more straight single guys there than bi couples or bi men. That is due to secrets charging significantly less for single guys on Tuesday than any other night. And of course they linger in the play room hoping to get lucky. We understand their motivation, but it’s not a bi night nor even a night to pick up a hot single guy. Then they moved the drag show to outside versus being inside the nightclub. The performers are still good, but just not as much interaction outside as you had previously.

Paradise Lakes Resort
I’ve always believed that places like Paradise Lakes should prioritize privacy, discretion, and guest comfort above everything else. Unfortunately, during our recent visit, several guests were openly using cell phones at the Conversation Pool while people were nude and intimate activity was taking place nearby. The presence of phones in that environment completely changed the atmosphere and made many of us uncomfortable. My spouse and I ended up leaving abruptly, and we were not the only ones upset — several other couples were openly discussing the same concerns. Whether anyone was actively recording or not honestly doesn’t matter. Guests should never have to wonder if a camera could be pointed in their direction while they are vulnerable, exposed, or sharing intimate moments with their partner. I never consented to having recording-capable devices next to me in that setting. I truly hope management takes this issue seriously and considers enforcing a strict no-phone policy in nude and play areas moving forward. Privacy and trust are essential in environments like this, and without them, the experience changes completely.
