Rooftop Resort
There wasn’t a huge crowd, but that wouldn’t have been too big a deal. It was mostly single males, but that wasn’t a surprise. The music, though. It was so loud that we were developing headaches with ten minutes. The place has always been a little rough, but it has some charm. The DJ countered that by playing the music at a volume that blocked conversation, complaint, and even normal thought. No more Wednesday parties for us.

Rooftop Resort
Yes we attended all the events this weekend, now that they are under NEW ownership, you can already feel the changes in the ambiance. The GREAT thing about was to see the owner showing up on premises to meet his clientele. I’ve been going to Rooftop for years. Way prior to Margaritaville and never once met an owner and actually didn’t even know who was a manager. I am excited for what’s to come. I ONLY SEE positive changes and upgrades

This was our first experience of a hotel takeover. We met some very nice people and made new connections. I think the event was professionally organized and the entertainment was top notch. We will definitely be attending future events as our schedule allows!

We went on Saturday, August 1. We were charged the full amount for the day pass, even though their site reads '"couples first Saturday" for the discounted rate. There is a sign at the check in desk that states that the first weekend is defined as the first Friday and consecutive Saturday. So, somehow, the first Saturday is not always the first Saturday. By the time we're at the front desk it's too late, as we already had booked a room, and there is no refund. FAIL. There is no way this is the first time people have pointed out their site is misleading (at best).

We recently spent a weekend at Sandy Bottoms and were blown away by how much we enjoyed it. We left already planning our next visit! The resort is beautiful, incredibly clean, and very well maintained. The private lake, beach, pool, hot tub, and Y dock give everyone plenty of space to relax, swim, sunbathe, or socialize. The whole property does a great job of maintaining a natural, secluded atmosphere. What really stood out was the people. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. There was a great mix of ages, couples, and experience levels. The atmosphere was social and flirty while still feeling relaxed and respectful. The themed events were also a highlight. Both the '70s party and glow party had people going all out with costumes, makeup, and body paint, and the pool and hot tub became the social hub afterward. For anyone curious about Sandy Bottoms but hesitant because there isn't much information online: we'd absolutely recommend giving it a try. We had an incredible weekend and can't wait to go back!

This was our 2nd Heatwavers event and it did not disappoint! We only went on Saturday night and the music was fantastic! My husband and I danced so much. The fire show was amazing! We didn’t realize there were play rooms upstairs until late when some of our friends told us about them and we enjoyed them too although they were mostly empty when we checked them out. I liked the bdsm room behind the dance floor and I wanted to try the swing but I felt like it wasn’t secluded enough. Overall 10/10. Thank you for an awesome event! 😘😘😘

This was only our 2nd hotel takeover and it was a blast. It was very nice having it be a whole hotel takeover. The hotel rooms were very nice also. The proprietor 😉 definitely put a lot of thought and money into this party. All the branded equipment did help immerse yourself into the heatwave. The entertainment was great and the production value was super high. We were surprised to find out how new the company was for how well done everything was. HEATWAVE FANTASY CARNIVAL was our first event with Mark, Judy, and their team, and we were truly impressed! The event was well organized, welcoming, and filled with great energy. We had a wonderful time reconnecting with longtime friends, spending more time with people we’ve known for years, and meeting so many amazing new people. A huge thank-you to the entire team for all the work that went into creating such a fun and memorable experience. We are so glad we attended and would happily join another Heatwave event in the future.
